Welcome to Kennedy With Love.

My name is Stephanie Kennedy; a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and I am here to love and support you.

Having the courage to seek support is not an easy fete. When we find ourselves needing help, it can be nerve-wraking, scary and extremely uncomfortable. No matter what you may be feeling or thinking in this moment something has brought you here and that is the first step in connecting with me and back to yourself. You may be feeling nervous, scared, uncomfortable, or you may have reached a point in your life where you know for certain that something must change and you just don't know how to start.

Perhaps you are already well on your way on this journey, have hit a snag, and need a helping hand to continue the work you've already put in.

I am here to hold a safe space for you to explore, excavate, and feel deeply the feelings that can free you. For those of you that have lost your way through experiencing a trauma, shame, blame, guilt, or grief, please know that this place that you find yourself in is temporary. Each moment in life is temporary and I would love the opportunity to love you through the depths of each and every emotion until you find the strength and courage within you to ride the waves of life all on your own.

After a second trimester miscarriage, walking through the grief and pain led me to a deep knowing that I needed to use my life experiences to help others. I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with a Diploma in Professional Counselling and specialization in Sexual Abuse Counselling from Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. My approach to counselling is a trauma informed, mindfulness and heart-based practice using a combination of Somatic healing, Adlerian, Client-centred, REBT (Rational emotive behavior therapy) and Gestault theories of therapy.
